Ancol Residence

Description

This project is a private residence located in North Jakarta, featuring a 360-degree spiral staircase that connects to a long, slender bridge. The design emphasizes openness, with extensive use of glass while still considering natural ventilation. The master bedroom is cantilevered 5 meters forward from the main structure, creating a striking architectural feature. As the structural consultants, we approached the challenges creatively by using a combination of drop panels and prestressed beams to support the 5-meter cantilever effectively.
